Friendship between individuals began the relationship. Now entire
institutions and civilizations must learn whether they can practice
the same restraint and respect.
Asteron could change Earth forever.
That possibility creates hope.
It also creates pressure.
Asteronian science and technology exist far beyond Earth’s current
capabilities. The possibilities are impossible to ignore.
Medicine. Energy. Engineering. Spaceflight. Knowledge accumulated
across generations.
Humanity naturally wants to know more.
But Daniel, Emily, Kael, the First Elder, and those who have learned
what genuine contact requires understand that moving too quickly
